What Vegan Celebrities Eat

Find out what your favorite vegan celebrities eat…

More and more celebrities are adopting a vegan diet. Ever wonder if they actually eat the same things that other vegans eat? Sure, many of them have personal chefs. However, you may be surprised at what they eat when the chef isn’t around.

Venus Williams told Explore Health that one of her favorite vegan recipes is celery-root soup. Williams says, “I get celery root, tomato, and some Silk almond milk as a base to thicken it a little bit, and then maybe I’ll add pan-fried garlic on top, maybe some truffle oil.”

Pro dancer, Jenna Dewan told Us magazine that she turns to the brand Beyond Meat’s Beyond Beef Crumbles for taco night. Now that’s one that I can relate to. Is it Taco Tuesday yet?

Actress Lea Michele told Women’s Health that her typical breakfast consists of steel-cut oatmeal with soy milk or a tofu scramble with salsa and avocado. They may just be a winner every day.

Carrie Underwood

Carrie Underwood told Rachel Ray that she love Tofu Scramble with onions, peppers, spinach and salsa! The one will definitely be used on repeat.

Ellen DeGeneres has a recipe section on her website where she features Banana and Oatmeal Pancakes as one of her favorite vegan breakfast meals. She’s also got it bad for vegan spring rolls with a fresh ginger-soy dipping sauce.

Alicia Silverstone has an entire cookbook entitled, The Kind Diet, full of her favorite vegan eats. Also, from her book, Kind Mama, Silverstone includes a millet mashed “potatoes” with mushroom gravy recipe as one of her favorites.

SC cites Natalie Portman’s favorite vegan meal as watermelon salad. Portman shares the recipe which incorporates a slew of organic nuts and seeds, such as hemp and chia, for a filling salad, including chunks of juicy watermelon, sweet medjool dates, and a a light dressing made of olive oil, maple syrup, and apple cider vinegar.

Emily Deschanel told SC that one of her favorite vegan recipes is for lemony roasted potatoes. Who doesn’t like potatoes. Sounds delish!

Ginnifer Goodwin told In Style that one of her favorite vegan recipes was for Bok Choy & Chick’n Salad. What a fab way to use Nissin Top Ramen Oriental Instant ramen noodles.

So it seems that celebrity vegans don’t eat much differently after all. Though in some sense they may get their hands on some pretty delish recipes by way of their chefs. Nonetheless, ultimately we’re all just putting our creative juices to the test to make being vegan all the more fabulous.

What did you think about what vegan celebrities eat? Is is similar to your diet?
