What better way to survive the quarantine than with virtual tours. From art to houses there are a plethora of virtual tours to be had all across the web? If being home bound has begun to get the better of you try it out. It may just cure the fidgets.
If you’re a fan of the arts Google Arts & Culture has partnered with over 2500 museums and gallaries around the world to provide a never-ending source of virtual gallery tours. Whether you’re a fan of modern art or traditional there is bound to be at least a handful that peak your interest.
Now if you’re a nature or wildlife enthusiast National Geographic has a spectacular virtual tour of the Son Doong, the world’s largest cave located in Vietnam that you’re sure to enjoy. The National Parks Service has some equally entertaining virtual tours of parks throughout the U.S. Then Google Arts & Culture has you covered here as well. They teamed up with 5 national parks and the result is the most breathtaking virtual tour collection ever consisting of the following national parks:
- Kenai Fjords
- Hawai’i Volcanoes
- Carlsbad Caverns
- Bryce Canyon
- Dry Tortugas
Next if, like me, you are a dreamer and watch HGTV non-stop than you may prefer some of the virtual home tours. Here are some that are well worth checking out.
- Million Plus
- Kuna Estates
- Sotheby’s (my fav)
Then to entertain the kiddies or the kid in you go on Youtube and take a theme park virtual tour. Get on the scariest ride ever, put your hands up and scream to the top of your lungs.
At any rate there are many ways to calm the fidgets. Take your pick and enjoy. This too shall pass. You just have to keep your spirits up in the meantime and virtual tours are a wonderful way to do that.
Have you found a way to survive the quarantine with any virtual tours? Which ones have you done?
