I nearly lost my faculties when I saw Beyond Breakfast Sausage in the frozen aisle at my local health food store. After trying it at Dunkin Donuts I was hooked and have been anxiously anticipating it’s store launch ever since. Now it’s here and let me tell you the Beyond Breakfast Sausage is everything!
So it comes in two flavors including classic and spicy. So far I’ve only tried classic, but I do have plans to add spicy to the mix. Both flavors use spices like sage and black pepper to give a flavor similar to pork breakfast sausage. Also, it cooks in roughly five minutes!
For between $6.99 – $7.99 you get 6 plant based patties in a 7.4 oz container. Also, the packaging is all zero waste so that means no plastic for the landfills. Besides that it’s non-gmo, kosher, free of soy, gluten, nitrates, nitrites, antibiotics and hormones, and packs a whole 11 grams of protein!
Vegans and non-vegans will absolutely love it. The good thing about being able to make it at home is that you can hook it up to your liking. So for Sunday brunch I did just that. I popped that bad boy onto an English muffin, topped it with a slice of Field Roast Chao vegan cheese and some pan-fried just egg and the skies of heaven opened up in my mouth!
Now when I say that the Beyond Breakfast Sausage is everything I mean just that. This delectable plant based patty is super easy-to-cook, seasoned to perfection and deliciously mouthwatering. Holla if you hear me when I say the Beyond Breakfast Sausage is bomb!
