I’ve been a longtime, loyal cast iron mommi. However, recently I decided to give ceramic cookware a try. I was initially drawn to it because I love the look of it. Also, ceramic cookware is super easy to clean. After all, it is non-stick so you still get all the benefits that come with that feature. Additionally, ceramic cookware is very durable, particularly ceramic coated cookware (anodized aluminum coated in ceramic). This type of ceramic cookware isn’t prone to scratches or chipping and can last for years.
For all of these reasons ceramic cookware is definitely splurge worthy. Ceramic is one of the healthiest cookware options currently available. There are tons of options to choose from as ceramic cookware is quickly becoming more popular. Though, while most are good, be sure to confirm that there are no harmful Teflon chemicals in the brand that you choose. Aside from that you have nothing to lose.
