Costco just launched Alpha Food’s vegan Crispy Chik’n Patties. Alpha Food’s Chik’n Patties, also known as Alpha Chik’n Burgers, have been getting rave reviews for some time now.
Depending on where you live, prior to Costco’s launch you could only really find them in much smaller quantities in local health food stores. Though other areas carried them in Walmart, Wegmans, Kroger and Publix.
However, now you can purchase these delicious, crispy patties conveniently in bulk at Costco across the U.S.. Costco store locations now carrying the patties include Los Angeles, Hawaii, and Texas. Also included is the Southeast region including stores in Georgia, Tennessee, Mississippi, South Carolina, North Carolina, Alabama, Florida, and Puerto Rico.
Just a short while ago, Costco promised to expand their plant based offerings and it seems that they are honoring that promise. Having recently launched the Beyond Burger, it’s a pleasant surprise to see this most recent addition of the Crispy Chik’n Patties.
Each pack of Alpha Foods Crispy Chik’n Patties available at Costco contains a total of 10 patties and are priced just under $10. They are made of soy and textured wheat protein. They are vegan, non-GMO and protein packed. Each patty packs 13 grams of protein, 2 grams of fiber, 50 milligrams of calcium, 2 milligrams of iron and 270 milligrams of potassium.
Suffice it to say that this is especially good news in the wake of the pending pandemic shutdown that has forced most of us to purchase in bulk to avoid unnecessary multiple trips to the store. So a Costco-size pack of Crispy Chik’n Patties is the answer to a vegan’s prayers.
Has the Costco near you launched the vegan Crispy Chik’n Patties? If so, have you gotten a box yet?
