A self care hack that has become a favorite past time and that I have really been enjoying is a quarantine n soak! If you haven’t already been doing so I hope that you now decide to take advantage of this unique opportunity to enjoy this powerful self care hack.
There is something so satisfying and invigorating about a foot soaking massage. Even more awesome is that it’s something that you can do while you quarantine.
Foot soaks come with so many benefits. They are relaxing. When done with epsom salt they flush toxins and heavy metals from your skin’s cells, reduce inflammation, increase circulation and ease muscle cramps and joint pain. Epsom salt can also help heal fungus or ingrown nails, and soothe dry skin.
You can also soak your feet in essential oils, which come with an array of benefits as well. For instance, rosemary essential oil helps soothe tired muscles and has antiseptic properties. Cedarwood oil is an antiseptic and anti-fungal, while lavender oil is a natural pain reliever.
