Find out about all the vegan options now available at The Cheesecake Factory.
More and more restaurants are putting forth an extra effort to offer vegans an inclusive dining experience. Long and forgotten are the days when vegans and omnivores were forced to dine separately.
One of my long-time favorite restaurants is The Cheesecake Factory. I recently stopped by to check out what vegan options were on the menu. I’m happy to report that I was pleasantly surprised. In fact, there were so many vegan friendly options that it was difficult to choose.
What initially caught my eye was the section labeled, “Super” Foods. In that section they had Avocado Toast and Vegan Cobb Salad. The Vegan Cobb Salad consisted of crisp lettuce topped with grilled asparagus, green beans, roasted beets, avocado, cucumber, tomato, garbanzo beans, quinoa, farro, almonds and sunflower seeds with house vinaigrette. Can you say delicious!
Now the gems were found in the ‘Appetizer’ section. In appetizers there was Korean Fried Cauliflower, which consisted of crispy cauliflower tossed with sweet and spicy Sauce, toasted sesame seeds and green onion. They also had Edamame and Avocado Eggrolls. Might I add that the Avocado Eggrolls were absolutely delicious. They consisted of avocado, sun-dried tomato, red onion and cilantro fried all served in a crisp wrapper with a tamarind-cashew dipping sauce.
Of course they had the American classics. They had their signature Veggie Burger, which is made with brown rice, farro, mushrooms, black beans and onion. For an added bonus The Cheesecake Factory recently partnered with Impossible Foods. So The Cheesecake Factory now serves the Impossible Burger as well as Impossible Taco Salad and Impossible Pasta Bolognese. The Impossible Pasta Bolognese is made using a meatless tomato sauce with sauteed mushrooms, onions, garlic and herbs.
Another pasta option is Pasta Pomodoro, which is spaghetti tossed with The Cheesecake Factory’s housemade marinara sauce, imported cherry tomatoes and fresh basil.
Overall, I was very impressed with all of the vegan friendly options at The Cheesecake Factory. It has now become a top contender for dining out. I look forward to seeing them continue to expand the menu of vegan friendly options as more consumers climb aboard the vegan train. I’m most looking forward to a vegan cheesecake. Have you been to The Cheesecake Factory lately? Which vegan friendly dish did you choose?
