This week’s Hulu and Hang fav is Little Fires Everywhere. Starring Kerry Washington and Reese Witherspoon, this show was all that I expected it to be and more. I knew from the start that it would be a winner once I saw the cast.
Both women were amazing. The writing was even better, delivering a stellar show that was intriguing, thought provoking and captivating. I literally could not stop watching as each episode kept me wanting more.
The writer gives you just enough to crave a better understanding of each main character and how the other characters shape their overall story. Ultimately, Little Fires Everywhere is a big mystery that you are just increasingly more desperate to solve.
Both women have these secrets that have seemingly defined their lives. Then, while you see how evident their differences are you can’t help but start to notice their similarities. It begs the question, does what makes them different somehow unify them as one, as woman?
Little Fires Everywhere is an engaging show that truly captures the essence of various aspects of the American family. It does so in a way that forces introspection, the acknowledgement of your duality within and a personal exploration outside of your comfort zone. Besides that, the plot twists are everything! Overall, this show is supremely binge-worthy.
