Its all about that Violife up in here! If you haven’t already tried it, you seriously need to get a pack of Violife non-dairy cheese. It’s certain to be a household fav.
Violife launched a couple years ago when the vegan cheese game began to seriously step things up. Despite its many contenders, according to PETA polls, Violife took the crown.
This oh so delicious cheese is non-GMO and made with a modifed food starch base. It comes in a variety of formats including cream cheese, blocks, shreds, slices and feta. Violife also offers a wonderful selection of flavors including parmesan, smoked, cheddar, mozzarella, colby jack and more!
Now I’m always up for something new when it comes to vegan eats. However, being the cheese lover that I am when I find a vegan cheese brand that I like I tend to cling. That said, I’ve become a bit of a loyalist to Field Roast Chao Cheese and Daiya. Thus, I really wasn’t in the market for another contender, at least until I tried Violife. So after hearing all the rave about this cheese I just had to try it for myself.
After trying it out I can honestly say that Violife is definitely neck and neck with Chao and Daiya. I’m still in a relationship with both Chao and Daiya, but I’ve added Violife to our situation so the threesome is now four. For nachos, enchiladas and any other creamy cheese based delight Daiya reigns supreme. However, for pizza and mac and cheese Violife and Daiya may have to agree on some type of schedule to share my affections. Much of the same will need to happen with Violife and Chao when it comes to burgers, sandwiches and such.
Overall, I absolutely love Violife dairy free cheese. It has some real standout qualities that deserve mentioning. First, in terms of flavor, I must say that Violife nailed it. Next, they crushed the texture! I love how well it melts. Smack a slice of it on a burger or grilled cheese and you’d swear you had the real thing. This also makes it the perfect choice for baked dishes like pizza and mac and cheese. Vegan pizza night will never be the same once you add Violife cheese to it. You can’t beat the versatility of this brand and the brilliant offerings. Violife has a bright future ahead. Like I said, in my house its all about that Violife up in here!
Have you tried Violife? How was it?
