Our super herb of the week is noni. Noni is popularly known as Indian Mulberry. It’s a fruit that has been used by Polynesian healers for thousands of year. Commonly consumed as a juice, noni juice is a globally popular health beverage originating in the tropics.
Rich in antioxidants, Vitamin C, vitamin B3, Vitamin A and Iron, noni has been said to be a magical drink . It has been known to treat a variety of health problems such as diabetes, high blood pressure, aches, pains, burns, arthritis, inflammation, tumors, the effects of aging, and parasitic, viral, and bacterial infections.
A review of published human intervention studies suggests that noni juice may have several other health implications as well including:
