Why is finding an all natural vegan conditioner that actually works on curly hair like a ‘mission impossible’ quest? I feel like I’ve tried it all and have yet to truly realize any success.
With every try I’m always just so hopeful because ‘everyone’ is singing the praises of this or that brand. However, by the time I use it a few times my hair is right back to getting minimal hydration and maximum crunch. Then, I’m back on the hunt again.
Meanwhile, you have the brands who start out with such promise. The ingredients are stellar, the price is so-so and it nails it with effectiveness. Then before long, everytime like clockwork, after it gains some popularity the quality deteriorates and surprise, surprise the ingredients mysteriously change! Those once prized all natural ingredients are no more and the once beloved ‘all natural’ product is anything but ‘natural.’
Why can’t there just be at least a handful of brands that truly stay committed to keeping hair care products natural, plant based and effective? It seems that greed always defeats eco-consciousness. You all know the products that I’m referring to. As much as I want to I’m going to refrain from naming any names, but you all probably know enough of them anyway.
Perhaps change will only come by way of consumers truly taking a stand and no longer supporting greed. Perhaps its time to put our money where our mouth is and only support and stay true to those brands who stay true to us.
We don’t want finding an all natural vegan conditioner that works to be a mission impossible. We want it to be the new norm. We want glossy, hydrated, healthy curls that have been touched by nature by way of nourishing, healing, toxic free hair products made by brands who truly care about our well-being above all el$e.
