“People say nothing is impossible, but I do nothing every day.” – A. A. Milne
I absolutely love this quote. It’s so fitting for how I feel right now being cooped up in the house as I journey through this seemingly never-ending quarantine.
It’s funny how not so far in the distant past I perceived the saying that ‘nothing is impossible’ as being so profound as now nothing more than a literal contradiction.
This quarantine has truly turned the world upside down. Though I’m working daily, sitting in the house alludes me into feeling like I’m doing nothing all day. It makes one day melt into another until I almost lose track of the days.
Makes you question, exactly what is this Jedi mind trick that we’re calling a ‘quarantine?’ It has certainly made the impossible possible. In fact, nothing is evermore possible as we fade further into the abyss of nothingness more and more each day.
How are you feeling about this quarantine? Does the saying, ‘nothing is impossible’ still hold true for you as you process the state of things?
