Peace Lovey!
On my journey to manifesting my dream life, I’ve concluded that I need to be the superhero in my life. Basic I know, but it’s amazing how often we play the role of the villain rather than the hero in our lives.
Recently, I found myself in quite the bind. Not surprisingly it was financial in nature. So, I immediately took on the role of the superhero because I needed an immediate solution and resolve.
Like most, when it comes to financial matters I detest asking anyone for help. There’s just something that doesn’t feel right about it and when something doesn’t feel right I steer clear of it.
So instead I work my magic, tap into my super powers and come up with a solution. Essentially, I become the superhero and I save the day.
Now developing this skill has taken a bit of practice and more than enough opportunity. It requires you to completely put all your trust in you. It also requires a bit of blind faith. So you’ll have to believe it before you actually see anything.
That is in fact the most challenging part though because it consequently causes a bit of anxiety. When I tell you that at times this process keeps me up nights…
However, being a superhero was never meant to be easy. Easy doesn’t typically yield growth. Besides growth another reward is that you get resolve. The process of becoming a superhero builds character and you get better at it with each trial. You become a more adept superhero. I think it’s all worth it.
To the contrary, the alternative is not at all flattering. Being the villain in your life will only bring distress. You will destroy everything in your path. Like dominos things will begin to fall apart. It’s in no way a good look.
So the choice of being the hero versus the villain in your life comes down to whether you want to build or destroy.
On the movies being a powerful destructive villain can often be made to look sexy. However, in real life I doubt that you find it has the same appeal. There’s nothing sexy about seeing life come crashing down all around you. This is even more devastating when it is your own doing.
That said deciding to be the superhero in your life is a no brainer. It’s well worth it. It makes you feel empowered. It allows you to discover your true potential. Over time your super powers grow and expand. You acquire new super powers. Nothing is insurmountable. What’s there to not like about this option.
Sure you’ll still experience some losses. However, as long as you keep things in perspective you won’t be defeated by them. You’ll instead recognize losses as being part of the process, the universe balancing itself out as well as an opportunity for growth.
When you fail you gain more insight unlocking the means to devise a better plan for the next time you are faced with a similar challenge.
Sure, with great power comes great responsibility so you may be challenged a bit more. Though even that price still doesn’t outweigh the benefits of being the superhero in your life. The benefits gained are infinite. The sky isn’t even the limit.
So what about it? Do you plan to be the superhero in your life or the villain?
