Let’s explore a way to feel better by going cloud watching…
As a child I used to love cloud watching. It inspired me to dream and visualize. It taught me that nothing in this place mattered more than the clouds. Nothing in this world mattered more than that quiet space of nothingness between me and my higher Self.
Now as an adult I still love to watch the clouds. It’s one of my favorite self care habits. In fact, I go cloud watching when I need inspiration or a reminder that nothing in this place is more important than the expansion of my mind. The clouds remind me to see beyond the facades and the density of man’s inflated ‘problems.’ Let them glide by like the clouds.
Lately nature has reminded me to find moments to retreat into the clouds. When the current events of life are too heavy and depressing, nature has reminded me that its okay to escape it all for a while through cloud watching.
Even as you’re being faced with what feels like an endless quarantine nature still manages to remind you to appreciate the little things. It makes sure that you don’t forget to stop and smell the roses. It finds a way to show you the beauty of life.
When you need a reminder of what’s really important in the grand scheme of things go cloud watching. Its a super cool self care habit to add to your practice.
So that’s how you feel better by going cloud watching. Did you cloud watch as a child? Remember how good it used to make you feel? Remember how liberating it was? When was the last time you laid down on the earth, poured all of your problems into it and then absorbed all of your hopes and dreams out of the clouds.
